Are cleaners background checked, insured and bonded?

Yes - all of our cleaning team members are carefully vetted. They are background checked, insured, and we are bonded. We know how important your trust and safety is and it is not something we compromise on.

When will I get a confirmation?

Immediately after you book with us, you will get an email confirmation with all of the details of your cleaning.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We understand that life happens. Please contact or call us at 817-585-8622 if anything comes up and you need to reschedule or cancel. However, we do require at least 72 hours of notice for any cancellation.  There will be a charge of 50% of the amount or estimated amount for any cancellations without a 72 hour notice.

What happens if I see things that were not properly cleaned?

Please email us pictures at and we will look into it. We value our customers and will do our best to make things right!

Can I set up recurring cleans?

Absolutely. When you book your fist cleaning, you can select weekly, biweekly, or monthly cleanings. You can also create an account on our site and choose these options at your convenience!

What happens if my cleaner doesn't show up in the estimated time slot?

We give an hour long arrival window as our team goes job to job. Sometimes things take longer than expected. If your cleaner hasn’t arrived in their time slot, please contact us at or (817) 585-8622.

How long will my cleaning take?

Every home is different but we provide an estimate job competition time based on the information your give us. We use this projection to price your flat rate, and if the cleaning goes over that estimated time, we charge a pro-rated hourly rate of $40/hour.

How much will it cost to clean my home?

Every home and need is unique, so providing an exact answer without more information can be difficult. Contact us, and we can offer you a quote over the phone after asking a few questions.

Do I need to sign a contract?

At The Mop & Broom, we value your satisfaction and do not require any contracts. Our exceptional cleaning and quality service will keep you coming back for more

Do I have to be home when my cleaning occurs?

Our busy clients often aren't home when we arrive, but we've got it covered. When you book with The Mop & Broom, let us know the best way to access your home, whether that be with a key or door code.

Should I tip my maid?

We take pride in our work and appreciate any gratuity for a job well done - all tips go 100% to your cleaner. If you would like to tip your maid, please leave it in a clearly marked envelope with 'The Mop & Broom' written on it. Alternatively, you can contact our office, and we will add it to your invoice.

What type of products do you use to clean?

At The Mop & Broom, we care about your health and the environment. That's why all of our maids only use the most effective safe, green, and eco-friendly cleaning products. We send a full list of all the supplies we use to our clients immediately after they book with us.

Do I need to supply anything?

At The Mop & Broom, we bring everything necessary to make your home shine! You won't have to worry about a thing

What do I do with my pets while you are cleaning?

At The Mop & Broom, we understand that pets are family too! If your pet is friendly, they can stay with you while we clean. If not, we recommend crating them, keeping them in a specific room, or leaving them outside (weather permitting). Rest assured, that room will not be cleaned while your pet is in there.
